Using a particular equipment, it is possible to achieve concave faceting: traditional faceting realize flat facettes on the mineral, OMF (Optically Magnified Faceting) iinstead, consists in realizing concave facettes that increase light dispersion in the mineral.
OMF gems look one R.I. (Refractive index) highier than the real one: a quartz looks like a topaz, a topaz like a corundum, a corndum like a diamond.
